The Andistalkern Sequence
Jared up-Arran can hear a strange voice whispering inside his head. It
starts as a subtle whisper; an echo of his own, strained thoughts. But
it is growing stronger. More aggressive. More contradictory. One
minute it wants to protect him. The next it wants him dead.
The Prologues (Working Title)
A collection of books telling the backstories of some of the characters
from the later Andistalkern books.
The Histories
The first Histories trilogy tells the story of Prince Breannain and the
musician Chrisandor.
Origins
Set in Talamh’s distant past, The Origins tells the story of the
Andistalkern’s past and the old world’s breaking.
Aquelianus (Working Title)
Rejoin Aquelianus from The Glass Butterfly as chance brings him into
contact with the impossible--a wild, female Damai.

Jared up-Arran
When madness strikes the
Kingdom Household of up-
Arran, the region is declared
plague-ridden and its
borders sealed. Only four-
year-old Jared, smuggled
out by his mother, survives.
Twenty years later, Jared
arrives at the al-Rafael
Household to end his affair
with its ruler Lady Morgain.
Before he can say a word,
however, he is arrested and
accused of spying. Tortured
into confessing, he loses his
career, his home, and his
freedom. When a voice
starts whispering in his
head, he fears he is losing
something even more
precious. His mind.
Armon bal-
Rafael
Born outside of wedlock, Armon bal-Rafael is considered an
embarrassment by his family and hidden from the world. Lonely
and isolated, he becomes obsessed with his lifelong companion
Lady Morgain.
Jealous of her relationship with Jared, he arranges for Jared’s arrest
and supplies the evidence which forces Jared’s confession. Now he
expects Jared to work for him as a spy.

about to throw a new
obstacle in his path.
The Bodyguard
Argyle, one of Salem’s
bodyguards, has been
assigned to guard the
reception entrance. Tasked
with keeping Jared in line, he
takes great pleasure in playing watchdog whenever their paths cross.

school year, and Antonius is
teaching a new group of
students what it means to
be Vortai. Their first lesson
over, he is returning with
them to the akademi when
he is summoned by the High
Vortai to face charges of
aiding a half-caste without
seeking the correct
permissions first.
Antonius admits his guilt,
but argues the situation
didn’t allow him a choice.
Despite his arguments, he is
found guilty and faces a
punishment which seems
excessive for what is
deemed a minor crime.
Despite the protests of his
counsel, he chooses to
accept the punishment rather than risk the discovery of a far worse
crime.

thought long banished.

It is the 19th year in the
reign of King Kenrick al-Ailin,
fourth ruler of the Kingdom,
and sixth lord of Kincaid. His
third son, Breannain, is in
love, but it is a love he is
forced to hide as the object
of his affection is another
man.
Chrisandor, one time royal
music teacher, is in prison.
He is held in isolation, his
violin his only comfort, until
his playing attracts the
attention of the warden’s
daughter Rashelle.
